Preschool: Infants – 4 Year-Olds
Our Valor Christian Academy Preschool provides a nurturing environment for infants through four year-olds, focusing on learning and social-emotional development. Children are taught by caring and encouraging teachers using lessons, play, stories, music, and tons of fun hands-on activities.
Nestled in the Golden Hills section of Redondo Beach, our campus has engaging classrooms and a great outdoor play area.
Our low student-to-teacher ratios allow for meaningful interactions, enabling exceptional growth opportunities in our students’ development.

Children between the ages of six weeks and five years of age are eligible for admission in our preschool. Class assignments are based on birth date and developmental readiness.

Valor Christian Academy is the South Bay’s premier, independent, private school, providing a solid academic Christian foundation for preschool, elementary and middle school since 1977.
The majority of the school’s students reside in the Beach Cities of the South Bay (Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, and Torrance), though many students live in various nearby communities, including Carson, Culver City, Gardena, El Segundo, Hawthorne, Inglewood, Lawndale, Los Angeles and Palos Verdes. Our elementary and middle school also hosts international students from various countries around the world.

Application & Enrollment Process

Application
- Complete our Online Application ($75 fee).
- This application includes a Teacher Recommendation (emailed to a current teacher), as well as uploading the following:
- Standardized Test Results (past 2 years if applicable)
- Report Cards (past 2 years if applicable)
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- This application includes a Teacher Recommendation (emailed to a current teacher), as well as uploading the following:
- Complete our Entrance Assessment ($70 fee) and Family Interview with our principal. Our Admissions Director will schedule your appointment.
Enrollment
- Upon acceptance, you will receive an email with instructions for our Online Enrollment, which takes place within our school management system, FACTS SIS.
- To complete Online Enrollment, you will be asked to pay a non-refundable 5% of tuition deposit plus a registration fee.
- The 5% of tuition portion of the Enrollment Fee is applied to your total tuition.
- The following items are required before the start of school:
- Report of Health Examination, signed by your child’s doctor
- Immunization Record in compliance with California legal requirements
- Entrance Assessment & Family Interview (if not completed prior to Enrollment)
