Mrs. Gutierrez has the distinguished honor of being the employee with the most years at Valor Christian Academy. She has been with Valor since 1995 when it was known as Coast Christian Schools. Throughout her years, she has had the opportunity to teach many grade levels, Summer Fun, and serve as C&R Director. For the past several years, she has been teaching electives which span multiple grades and is currently teaching  Spanish, Computer/Typing,  and she serves as Student Honor Council Advisor and helps with many extra-curricular activities. She has a deep love and compassion for children and always wants the best for them. She and her husband, Walter, will be going on 32 years of marriage and have three adult children. All of her children have had the privilege of attending Coast Christian Schools/Valor Christian Academy from preschool-8th grade. Her eldest child is married and recently blessed her with a beautiful granddaughter while her two younger children are completing their degrees. Mrs. Gutierrez enjoys being  involved in her church and loves the Lord.
