Miss Hannah
3rd Grade Teacher’s Aide/C&R Staff
Miss Hannah started working for Valor in 2021. She has been as an aide in our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade classes, and she currently serves as our long-term substitute teacher in our 2nd grade class. She is also a part of our C&R staff. Miss Hannah graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Linguistics. She was drawn to learning about the cultural aspects of language as well as language development and acquisition in children. Miss Hannah comes from a family of educators and has always spent her time volunteering at the schools where her mom and older sister have worked throughout the years. She enjoys working with her students and is passionate about fostering the importance of education in their lives. Miss Hannah is number six out of nine siblings in her family and credits her love for being in the classroom to her very large family. She has been a member of Community of Faith Bible Church (formally known as Westside Bible Church and Los Angeles Community Bible Church before merging) since birth. Her church family has helped to strengthen her faith throughout the years and is a part of her reasoning for wanting to work at a Christian school. Having gone to a Christian school herself has allowed her to understand the vital role a Christian education plays in her development as a godly woman, and she hopes to impact her students in the same way. Miss Hannah enjoys listening to oldies music, reading, drawing, and painting, and also hanging out with her siblings. Seeing as how she was a Linguistics major, Miss Hannah also loves watching and listening to shows and music in other languages.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
