“Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does.” Ephesians 6:7
Valor Christian Academy offers many ways for parents and family members to get involved and make an impact on the lives of our students. Below are just a few ways to be a part of the Valor community.
PRAY
Be a Prayer Warrior for Valor! Add Valor to your daily prayer list or check out our Just Pray page for ways to pray on campus. In either case, our students, our principal, teachers, staff and Board of Trustees need your prayers to keep Valor focused on providing academic excellence in a nurturing Christian environment.
VOLUNTEER
Valor has many ways to volunteer, and is only limited by one’s imagination. What are your talents or skills that you can share with the school? If you can think of a way, then we can probably use you! For ways that have already been thought of, check out our Volunteer Opportunities page. Aside from the joy of sharing your talent, volunteer hours can also be counted towards your PTF family fundraising commitment.
FUNDRAISING
Investments in educational materials, technology and ongoing facility upgrades require fundraising above and beyond Valor’s operating budget. To help with this investment, each family has agreed to an annual fundraising commitment. With volunteering and fundraisers throughout the year, it is easy to meet this commitment without writing another check. Valor Fundraisers are a great way to get family and friends involved! Please check out the Support Valor Fundraising page for more information.
PTF FELLOWSHIP EVENTS
Throughout the year, PTF spearheads fun events to connect Valor families together. From the annual Father/Daughter Dance and Mother/Son events to the Valor Connect Food & Fellowship nights, PTF finds creative ways for families to come together and build connections with each other. More information can be found on our Events page.
