Care & Recreation

Care and Recreation (C&R) is offered for families that need care for their children during non-school hours. C&R is offered for TK-8th grade students before school from 7:00 A.M. until 8:00 A.M. and after school from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M (or from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM on half days in which C&R is available). Homework time and activities are scheduled daily along with time for free play. Days when C&R is not available are designated on the school calendar.

The safety of the students is our number one concern. You MUST sign your child in (for the morning program) and out (for the afternoon program) of C&R.

The monthly fee for C&R is as follows: 

  • $200 for up to 10 hours per week  
  • $250 for more than 10 hours per week

How to Sign Up for a C&R Plan:

  • Log in to your FACTS Family Portal Account. District Code: VLR-CA.
  • Select “Web Forms” from the menu on the left and “C&R (Care and Recreation) Form” from the available options.

  • Read the terms of the C&R agreement, select your C&R Plan, write in the name of your student(s), write in the name of the month in which you want your child to start C&R, select the time(s) you would like your child to attend C&R, sign, and date. Please be sure to click “Save” to submit your form.
