MISSION STATEMENT
Our Mission at Valor Christian Academy is to provide each student with an uncompromising Christian education devoted to academic excellence in a family-friendly, safe, and nurturing environment.
Valor Christian Academy is the South Bay’s premier, independent, private school, providing a solid academic Christian foundation for preschool, elementary and middle school since 1977.
Valor Christian Academy offers preschool for infants through four year-olds and a rigorous, WASC accredited academic program in our elementary and middle school, serving students in transitional kindergarten through 8th grade.
We maintain small class sizes, with one classroom per grade level, and provide a standards-based academic program to a diverse student body from a Christian worldview.
Valor Christian Academy serves approximately 100 preschoolers and 200 elementary and middle school students on our single campus, nestled in the Golden Hills section of Redondo Beach, California.
Valor Christian Academy is a member of Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

The South Bay’s Premier Independent Private Christian School
Valor Christian Academy is a WASC accredited private transitional kindergarten through 8th grade Christian school in Redondo Beach, California, in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Valor Christian Academy serves approximately 200 elementary and middle school students as well as approximately 90 preschool students.
The majority of the school’s students reside in the Beach Cities of the South Bay (Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach) and Torrance, though many students live in various nearby communities, including Carson, Culver City, Gardena, El Segundo, Hawthorne, Inglewood, Lawndale, Los Angeles and Palos Verdes. The school also hosts international students from various countries around the world.
